Gran Turismo World Series (GTWS) Showdown 2023 is scheduled for the 11th and 12th of August at the Theatre Amsterdam. This event marks the first live GTWS event in three years, and tickets are now available for purchase.
The GTWS Showdown will be a gathering of top drivers from the 2023 Online Series, who will compete over two days of intensive racing. On the 11th of August, the Manufacturers Cup will feature top automotive manufacturers from the Online Series, including Official Partners Toyota, Genesis, and Mazda. On the following day, the Nations Cup will see competitors from 12 countries, including France, Belgium, and the host nation, the Netherlands.
In addition to the main events, there will be a special programme on the 10th of August, which includes a screening of the Gran Turismo movie and a Q&A session with Kazunori Yamauchi at the Pathé Tuschinski Theater.
For those interested in attending, tickets are available on the Special Page of the Gran Turismo website. The Platinum Weekend Ticket will be available for purchase from the 12th of June. This ticket includes access to all races over the two days, an exclusive Gran Turismo event T-shirt, and admission to the special movie screening and Kazunori Yamauchi Q&A session on the 10th of August.
The Gold & General Admission Tickets will go on sale from the 19th of June. The General Admission ticket provides access to either the Manufacturers Cup Final on the 11th of August or the Nations Cup Final on the 12th of August. The Gold ticket includes the above, as well as entry to the ‘Gran Turismo Sophy’ demonstration on the 11th of August or the ‘Pro-Am’ media race on the 12th, along with an exclusive Gran Turismo event T-shirt.
