Fanatec: New Official Steering Wheel Partner for Gran Turismo World Series

Established in 1997, Fanatec has consistently been at the forefront of sim racing technology advancements. It’s well-known for popularizing belt-driven force feedback, pioneering the integration of load cell sensors, and contactless magnetic sensors in mainstream pedals. It’s also recognized for launching the PlayStation®4’s first direct drive system. Strengthening its proficiency through strategic alliances with prominent car manufacturers and international racing circuits, Fanatec has seamlessly woven itself into the fabric of modern motorsports. In 2021, the firm unveiled an initiative to create state-of-the-art racing peripherals powered by groundbreaking force feedback technology, in partnership with Gran Turismo.

Presently, Fanatec has earned the distinction of being the official steering wheel partner for the global Gran Turismo World Series championship. An exclusive Fanatec section will be included in the Brand Central section of Gran Turismo 7.

Furthermore, Fanatec revealed its sponsorship plans for the 2018 Gran Turismo World Series Nations Cup champion and current dual motorsports driver, Igor Omura Fraga. Fanatec has committed to support him in the 2023 Super Formula Lights series.
