Gran Turismo champion Igor Fraga has agreed to drive for the brand-new Anest Iwata Racing with Arnage squad, which will participate in the GT300 class for the 2023 season. Japanese racing drivers Yuga Furutani and Miki Koyama will join Fraga in the team’s No. 50 “ANEST IWATA Racing RC F GT3” race vehicle as they participate in the SUPER GT 2023 Series.

Racing driver Fraga continues to compete in both the real-world and online realms of motorsports.
In his native Brazil, he won the F3 Brazilian Championship in 2017. He raced in the Formula Regional European Title in 2019 and took third place in the driver standings after winning four races. In 2020, he won the Toyota Racing Series championship. Since he was a young boy, Fraga has been an avid Gran Turismo player and has developed his abilities in virtual racing, helping Toyota win the Manufacturers Series in 2019 and 2020 and taking home the first FIA Gran Turismo Championships Nations Cup in 2018.
The creator of the Gran Turismo games, Polyphony Digital, is a partner of ANEST IWATA Racing and will create the team’s car’s livery.
Later this year, when it competes in the GT300 class, keep an eye out for the “ANEST IWATA Racing RC F GT3.”

Good luck Igor.
