The game’s latest update packs a bundle of new features, enrichments, and fixes, set to make your racing experience even more thrilling.
New Cars & Liveries
To begin with, your choice of cars in GT7 just got wider! Three new cars have been added to the game, including the Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT Veloce ’67, Greening Auto Company Maverick, and the Nissan GT-R NISMO (R32) ’90. You can find these vintage gems in ‘Legend Cars’ from 25 May.
Adding to the customization options, Toyota 86 Gr.4 and Toyota GR010 HYBRID ’21 now sport fresh liveries to give your vehicle a unique touch.
Expanded World Circuits
Your journey in GT7 is about to get more exciting with the introduction of new events in “World Circuits.” Get ready to race in the Super Formula at Autopolis and Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, the American Clubman Cup 700 at High Speed Ring, the Nissan GT-R Cup at Blue Moon Bay Speedway, and the Sunday Cup Classic at Monza Circuit.
Scapes & Café
Scapes welcomes “Japan National Stadium” and “Lake District” as featured Curations, offering more picturesque settings for your photos. In Café, GT7 adds two Extra Menus – SEMA GT Awards and Group A Collection, requiring Collector Levels 37 and 33, respectively.
Brand Central & Used Cars Updates
Brand Central now includes new Museum entries for Alfa Romeo and Italdesign. A helpful new feature indicates if a car you’re looking to purchase, in the same color, is already in your collection.
The game has also adjusted the Tuning Valuation algorithm for cars fitted with Ultimate tuning parts under the Used Cars category.
GT Auto & Tuning Shop
For customization lovers, the update has introduced an “Engine Swap” service in GT Auto and a new tab for “Ultimate” category parts in the Tuning Shop, both unlocked at Collector Level 50.
Enhanced Sports & Multiplayer Experience
GT7 now offers a “Free Practice” button on each championship’s Entry Screen for Sports mode. Both Sports and Multiplayer modes offer more control over settings during Daily Races, Qualifying Time Trials, and “Final” races.
Also, new restrictions for Engine Swaps and Tuning Parts have been added to race regulation settings in the Lobby under Multiplayer.
Localization Fixes & More
The update has addressed various text localization issues and fixed other miscellaneous bugs to ensure a smoother gaming experience.
Thanks to all GT7 fans for your support. Enjoy the new features and enhancements in Gran Turismo 7!
