The Hyundai Ioniq 5 N, the latest addition to the growing lineup of electric cars in Gran Turismo 7, will be available with the January 2025 update. Before its in-game debut, the high-performance EV will take the spotlight during the Gran Turismo World Finals in Amsterdam on December 7-8, 2024.
A Spotlight at the World Finals
The Ioniq 5 N will be the official car for the Qualifying Time Trial session in the Nations Cup World Finals on December 8, with the event streamed live via Gran Turismo’s official channels.
In addition, Gran Turismo players can unlock the Ioniq 5 N as a special Viewers Gift reward by tuning into the World Finals through the campaign banner in the game’s World Map. The reward will be distributed after the January update.
This addition builds on Hyundai’s strong motorsport legacy in 2024, which includes a TCR World Tour victory, records at Pikes Peak, and a WRC drivers’ championship. Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi praised Hyundai’s contributions to the racing world and expressed excitement for future collaborations.
