What's up everyone. I decided to create this ongoing thread where I will post random tips that are relevent to daily races or GT7 in general. Things which I have learned from coaching that people often don't think about until later in their development as a driver.

This week's tip is practice your grid starts for daily C! This is the first time I think Daily C has had a grid start that is not Super Formula. We just don't do grid starts in GT7, so its worth practicing! If you would like to see a live demonstration of why please see my YouTube video linked below.

I am starting to do YoutTube now. Humble beginnnings. Not looking to be the next big content creator. I'm just looking to compliement my coaching and help you where I can. I need to learn how to edit videos etc, in the mean time I am posting commentary race replays and hot laps. Track guides, tuition and coaching content will come in due course.

This video is from today's daily race C, where I talk about what I'm thinking during the race and how to manage potential chaos.

I race Batman in Daily race C.

My big tip for this week is the brake bias on the Lamborghini Huracan Group 4. This car can be quite tricky to drive, but what makes it worse is that you may be using the Brake Bias wrong. Normally you would move BB forward to make a car more stable on the brakes. In the Huracan it works in reverse. I can only assume this is a bug and it seems to be the case in other 4x4 cars too. Credit to Melyvin for sharing this information. I'm posting it here because a lot of people aren't on Discord to see these things. So if you are having problems with stability on the brakes in the Lamdo, move the BB rearward. I am running +4 in the race.

My video this week I again go over what I'm thinking and how I strategise the race. Thank you to everyone who watched the last one. Over 100 views for my first ever video is amazing!

A random tip while I remember it. This just came up on my YouTube comment section. You can cut the inside white line on pit entry / exit. At all tracks. It's only the outside line that gives you a penalty if you cut it.

At some tracks this makes for an easier and even faster pit entry. At RBR last week I cut it aggressively in my video, and Deep Forest reverse is an example of an easier entry if you cut it.

Tip for this week is practice your braking point into T1 lap 1.

A lot of people don't know where to brake because they are not at full racing speed on lap 1. This is what causes a lot of pile ups at T1. Practice a start in TT from different grid positions and get a feel for where to brake. This will likely help you avoid accidentally ramming anyone and it will also help you avoid being rammed.

No video today as I didnt race today but I do have a video series coming that I believe will be very helpful to lower ranked lobbies

Something a little different for you this week. One of the most common questions that comes up in coaching is how do you deal with the driving standards and chaos in lower lobbies? Well, nothing like a live demonstration on a new account in those low ranked lobbies, where I deliberately drive 5s off pace just to demonstrate that you don't always need to get faster to get out of lower ranks.

A very important tip this week. Practice your pit entry and exit. Fuji is one of those tracks where its very easy to pick up a 3s penalty or hit the wall entering the pits. People don't practixe this at all. So in lower ranks is quite possible to gain time on someone entering or exiting the pits. I don't brake entering the pits. Just lift a little and cut the white line on the left agressively. But leave two wheels on the black stuff. Exiting the pits the braking point is about a car length before the end of the white line.

Today's video is No.2 in the series designed to help lower ranked drivers navigate traffic and bad driving.

Video 3 in the series aimed at helping lower ranked drivers with strategy and navigating traffic. This week's tip is in the video as its a bit more specific to the race.

Today's tip comes in the form of a video short.

Watched this video yesterday. I'm a B ranked driver and thought it was very helpful. Just keep your calm and wait. Don't battle too much, find the clean air or someone you can trust and work together. Works very well in this weeks race C. Lot's of people struggling on the RH tyres. Thanks Luc!
