Awesome! I put one in and hope you select it. It was one of my best qualifying laps in Daily C at Deep Forest a few weeks back, one of my higher ranks overall. I felt great after this lap.

I am pretty sure I give time away braking aggressively, and my turn in is too sharp affecting the line. This was evident in the turn 1-tunnel complex. I bailed T1 a few times, but over drove into the tunnel.

My goal is to get into the top 1000, consistently.  I'm hitting a bit of a wall. The course is great and I'm looking forward to going through the new updates. This is a cool opportunity.

Would love a follow - Chasing my leaderboard has really helped!!

Got it, I'll have a look and give you some pointers. I just think that I would need a longer session to explain everything, but I'll try to give some pointers here.

Salut !

Je t'ai posté un de mes tours de qualifs sur la daily c de cette semaine, j'espère tu pourras me faire un retour sur mon tour !

Bonne soirée !

Awesome! Any pointers are great. I take alot from the stream and will continue to hang out. Cheers

Here you go:

First of all, this is not a bad lap at all! You have good control over the car, but there are a couple of areas where you can improve to gain more time.

I’d recommend revisiting the lessons on:
✅ Car Positioning
✅ Minimum Corner Speed

Your main mistakes are carrying too much speed into certain corners. This is causing you to delay acceleration and putting you slightly off the ideal racing line. The key takeaway here: don’t be afraid to brake more.

Braking a bit earlier and harder in some sections will help you rotate the car better and get back on the throttle sooner, which will ultimately result in a faster overall lap time.

Also this other example shows, how one bad fast corner can lead to one slow section. You carried more speed through the first part of the section, and then missed the entry into the other part of the section.

The biggest area for improvement in this lap is your racing line. Most of the time, you're missing your braking and turning points, which causes you to completely miss the apex. This is costing you a lot of time and consistency.

A few key things to focus on:
✅ Hitting your braking and turning points

✅ Using the full width of the track: You're leaving a lot of space unused, which is limiting your cornering speed and exit performance.

✅ Steering input: You're turning too much, which is making the car understeer. Try to be smoother with your steering and let the car rotate naturally instead of forcing it into corners.

✅ Uploading a clean lap: If possible, try to send a lap without major mistakes so it’s easier to analyze where you can gain time.

Much appreciated Digit, and confirmed a few areas I thought I needed to work on. Positioning did not cross my mind at all but I see the change needed. Your level of granular detail is amazing. Happy to support you, and thanks for supporting us!

Nice! I tagged a couple of my laps hopefully you'll get a chance to look at them! I think I'm struggling with probably everything but mainly slow in fast out and racing lines. Thank you for helping players like me get better!

hello,

Thanks for taking time to analyze.

I'll work on it and thanksfor your feedback, i know i'm not a master in sim racing but it's a pleasure to have feedback from players as you are !

See you next level :)

Here’s what I noticed in your lap:

✅ You're not braking at 100%, which delays your acceleration and causes you to lose time, especially on the straights. Try to brake harder and more efficiently to slow the car down in time, so you can get back on the throttle sooner. Also, you can get closer to the wall on entry to maximize your line.

✅ If you turn the wheel past 90 degrees, the car starts understeering, especially if you're carrying too much speed. Listen to your tires, if they’re loud, it means you’re pushing too hard. I’d recommend reviewing Course Lesson 9: Friction Circle, as it explains exactly how this affects your grip and cornering ability.

✅ You're going too wide on entry, which then compromises your exit speed. This has a ripple effect, making you lose time throughout the entire section. Focus on a better entry line to improve your overall flow.

✅ You're not using the full track width on entry, which then compromises your entire line through the corner. Make sure to use every bit of available space to straighten out your cornering and carry more speed efficiently.

The biggest thing to focus on is using the correct racing lines, this will help you carry more speed through corners and improve your exits. If you haven’t already, I’d recommend reviewing Lesson 6: Car Positioning, as it explains how to place the car correctly on the track.

Thank you! I will review lessons 9 and 6! Sometimes it's hard to see or understand the mistakes that are made for yourself but to have you point out and give tips really helps a lot!

Followed advice, not sure if I'm doing everything right but, I went from 1:56:879 to 1:54:944 on Tokyo Express!

That's great news, it doesn't take long to improve if you're doing the right things😁

Digit hello!

I tagged 2 replays: first is gr.4 from prevoius week (Daily C, Mount Panorama Circuit). Its my best lap by the end of the week. This was my first week in sport mode, I had only played in campaing before.

Second tag is gr.3 (current Daily C), my first real "touch" with a gr.3 car (I had a little expirience from Daily B at Dragon Trial a few weeks ago). I havent understood all tricky moments of the cicruit yet.

// My own observation - I don't let the car turn. I keep telling myself "let go, let the car turn after mainf part of braking" = I have been trying using trail braking since I started wathing your course, but I feel like I use more braking than necesssary and dont let go a car. //

It would be nice if you analyze one of the two replays.

Thanks in advance for your time.

✅ Slow In, Fast Out, You’re braking too late into Turn 1, which forces you to delay your acceleration and kills your speed down the straight. Try braking just a bit earlier, rotate the car, and get on the power sooner. That alone will help you gain solid time.

✅ Speed Difference, Just in Turn 1, you're losing about 0.6 seconds. That’s huge, and mostly down to missing the proper brake point and throttle timing.

✅ Use More Track: You’re not using the full width, especially on corner entry. Using more track will give you a better angle, which means you can carry more speed into the corner and get on the throttle earlier on exit.

✅ Brake Control: Keep an eye on your brake pressure, make sure you’re not over-slowing the car. Use just enough braking to get it rotated, and then focus on rolling the speed through the corner.

✅ Track on the Right: There’s more space on the right-hand side that you’re not taking advantage of. That extra width can help you open up the corner and accelerate earlier. Start by focusing on building more entry speed and see how it feels.

It took me a while, but here it is.

Hi Digit,

I was hoping you could review my PB replay from last weeks GR.3 at RBR. Any tips would be appreciated!

Thanks.
