Polyphony Digital has officially unveiled the schedule for the online phase of the 2025 Gran Turismo World Series. The competition is set to commence on April 2, 2025, marking the beginning of the eighth season of this virtual racing championship.
Overview of the 2025 Season
The 2025 season maintains a condensed qualification structure, similar to the previous year, featuring six online rounds for each of the two main championships: the Manufacturers Cup and the Nations Cup. Races are scheduled bi-weekly, occurring on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Participants should note that only one round can be dropped this year, with the best five results contributing to the overall points total.
Anticipated Live Events
While specific details regarding live event locations and dates remain undisclosed, the official Gran Turismo YouTube channel hinted that the 2025 series would be "bigger than ever." The 2024 season featured live events in cities like Prague, Montreal, Tokyo, and concluded with the World Final in Amsterdam.
