We’re happy to introduce Community Events on DG EDGE! This is a place to join, create, and manage racing events. No more manual tracking, no more spreadsheets.
Two Types of Events
Community Events come in two main formats:
1. Single Events
These are standalone races that can be set up in two ways:
• Custom Events – You set the rules, the track, the cars, and the challenge.
• Live Events – These time trials synced with an active daily race or time trial event.
2. Community Tournaments
For those looking to create multi-event tournaments, we’ve got you covered! Whether you’re a host or part of a team managing a tournament, our tools make organizing seamless.
How to Join or Create Events
Joining or creating events is super simple:
• To join events, all you need is a free claimed account. This is necessary so we can sync your lap times from the game with your event entry.
• To create custom events, you also just need a free claimed account.
• To create tournaments and live events, a premium subscription is required.
Custom Leaderboards & Automated Qualifying
One of the biggest headaches in organizing tournaments is managing leaderboards. That’s why we built a custom point system that does it all for you. Just upload the race results, and the system will automatically award points.
And here’s an incredible feature: If you connect your live event to your tournament, your qualifying session is fully automated. Just click “register”, and once we fetch the data from the game, the leaderboards update instantly. No need to manually track times or run separate qualifying sessions.
Custom Lobby Options
We’ve also added many customization options to the lobbies. And one of the biggest advantages of using DG EDGE? You already know the pace of the drivers you’re racing against thanks to our point system.
